Thanks for stopping by today, I’m answering some of the most asked questions I get about paint colors, flooring and countertop choices.
Starting with the quartz kitchen countertop which is approx. 2.5″ thick around the edge. The product is Silestone by Cosentino, Calacatta Gold.
There are so many choices for white walls out there it can be difficult to find the right shade or tint. Our entire interior house is painted in Sherwin Williams Pure White. The SW Pure White is a very bright white paint color that is known for being a fairly clean white that is not too white. We love it. Now when it comes to SW paint go with the higher end grade, trust me it makes a difference and requires less coats. We used the emerald paint with a satin sheen.
Another paint color I get a lot of questions about is the black we used on our fireplaces and powder room. Actually it’s also the same color as our front door. It’s also from Sherwin Williams and the color is Tricorn black. Again I highly recommend going with the Emerald grade on this one and ask for something that’s best for trim if you intend to use it on shiplap or doors.
Lastly, I get a lot of questions about the flooring we picked out. Keep in mind we have a pool, 2 boys and 2 dogs so we wanted something durable and waterproof. Plus with a waterproof floor you can carry it throughout the wet areas like the bathrooms and laundry room. One cohesive flow from room to room. The flooring is a luxury vinyl plank. We used Vesdura Vinyl Planks Waterproof Flooring.
Thanks for visiting today and good luck with your projects.
